Digitalisation has come to improve Ghana’s education system – NPP communicator

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communication Team, Enoch Afoakwah has encouraged Ghanaians to embrace the ruling government’s digitalisation initiative to usher Ghanaians into the fourth industrial revolution through digitalisation.

According to him, not only has the Akuffo led administration removed the barrier of money transaction and provided free education, but the introduction of digitalisation into the education system has improved the quality and education in the country.

Sharing his opinion on the launch of the Ghana Smart School Project (GSSP), he underscored that the benefits the project is going to bring the education sector in the country.

“These tablets contain a learning management system, that will contain all the approved curriculums and past questions that will aid the 21st century child in being well equipped and prepared, to improve the nation.”

Mr. Afoakwah, emphasised on Ghana ‘as the Black Star’ of Africa showing the way’ in terms of bridging the gap between digitalisation and education as well as providing a conducive atmosphere for students to learn and compete favourable with the international system.

He explained the world is now revolving towards digitalisation, with Artificial Intelligence being introduced to the education.

He believes with the great ideas and initiatives made by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Ghanaians will be actively involved in the fourth industrial revolution to make a great impact.

“The Smart School Project will help to enhance in the take off in the fourth industrial revolution. It is a good thing, and we should commend and encourage the government to do more. This is to enable Ghana to become competitive and find their feet in the global economy,” he concluded.
