Black Stars midfielder Kwasi Sibo has opened up on his future following the expiration of his contract with Spanish side Real Oviedo.
According to him, his family demands that he make a move to the Gulf and continue his career in Saudi Arabia.
He, however, stated categorically that he has yet to make a decision.
The Ghanaian helped ‘The Blues’ secure qualification into the Spanish La Liga for the 2025/26 football campaign, but they did not survive and were relegated back to the Segunda División, the second level of Spanish football.
Speaking on his future after Ghana’s World Cup campaign, the midfielder stated that he is still weighing up other options out of the several offers before taking a decision.
“My contract with Real Oviedo expired prior to the World Cup. I am now considering my options. I have received offers from clubs in England, Germany and Saudi Arabia, though my family is keen for me to move to Saudi Arabia,” Kwasi Sibo indicated.
He made this known in an interview with Kumasi-based Kesben TV on Tuesday, June 28.
The former Watford player joined Real Oviedo on July 4, 2024, on a two-year deal and went on to play 64 matches, scoring 1 goal.
Sibo was part of Carlos Queiroz’s 26-man squad that represented the nation at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
