The Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II has admonished the immediate past Trade and Industry Minister, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen to maintain the hardworking and gentleman traits he has been known for.

According to the Asante Monarch Mr. Kyeremanten should ensure his integrity is protected whiles he embarks on his political journey.

He gave the charge when the former Trade and Industry Minister on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, called on the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace to seek his blessing in his bid for his presidential ambition on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Alan Kyeremanten paid a courtesy visit to the Manhyia Palace

“Since yours is a democratic political party others who also have an interest in contesting would also come just as you have come to seek my blessings, but I urge you to be the gentle and hard-working man I have known and let’s see who God crowns as the flagbearer of your party,” the Asantehene said.

In the view of Otumfour Osei Tutu II Otumfuo, the political figure has comported himself well in both the private and public life hence the need to maintain that.

On his part, the former cabinet minister thanked the traditional ruler for the advice offered him and asked the people of Asanteman to support him achieve his ambition as the flagbearer of NPP in 2024.
