Your favourite radio station, Angel 102.9FM is the second-most listened to radio station in Ghana’s capital and its environs.

This is according to a report by Ipsos Ghana, a global leader in market research and television audience share measurement.

The Lapaz-based station beat the likes of Peace FM, Joy FM, Asempa FM, Vision 1 and Onua FM in the report which sought to evaluate the top 20 most-listened to radio stations in the Greater Accra Region for the month of November 2023.

The quality of contents from the station which began operations in 2019, is the main catalyst for this feat.

“We have over the years endeared ourselves to listeners as the go-to platform for all Ghanaians with diverse problems…and we can boldly say that we find solutions to the numerous problems that come knocking at our doorstep daily. ‘Let’s go to Angel FM and report’ has become a catch phrase in various homes due to how accessible we are to Ghanaians…,” General Manager of the station, Kwadwo Dickson said in reaction to the report.

The ace broadcaster was full of praise to staff of the station for working diligently to ensure that the station come top.

“Angel is Angel today because of the quality and dedicated staff available. Angel FM Accra is doing wonders because of the relentless efforts put in by our staff and we say congratulations to them. We are equally grateful to our audience for sticking to us and making us the best…,” he said.
