An aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Fanteakwa-North constituency, Freeman Ofori Agyarko has said that he is the suitable candidate for the Member of Parliament (MP) position in Fanteakwa in the 2024 elections.

Mr Ofori Nyarko who has occupied various positions in the NPP party in Fanteakwa North including youth organizer, deputy coordinator, and a campaign manager believes he possesses the magic wand that can turn Fanteakwa around.

In an interview with Angel FM anchor, Kojo Oppong Kyeremeh, the one-time Assembly man stated that he was born into the party and he knows the problems facing the people of Fanteakwa North.

“I was born into the party and have stayed in Fanteakwa for a very long time and knows the problems in every household and the problems facing each town, so I virtually know the problems of each household…,” he said.

He disclosed some achievements he made in the constituency during his reign as an Assembly Man and many more he will do if he is elected as the MP for the constituency.

“When I was an Assembly Man, I sought sponsorship from Germany to drill borehole for them, supplied them with trash can containers and helped students…,” he said.

Freeman Ofori Agyarko further enumerated that some of the challenges facing the constituency such as unemployment, lack of water, poor education, lack of places of convenience and poor roads and these would be resolved by him with the help of the people.

He added that those who haven’t occupied positions before struggle when given the position which results in the increasing suffering of the people in the constituency.

“Those who haven’t been in position before when given such they suffer but not me,” Ofori Agyarko added.
