The National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 Parliamentary Candidate for Anyaa Sowutuom, Emmanuel Adortey Allotey, has stated that the current President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, will deliver on all his promises to maintain public confidence.

According to him, President Mahama will fulfill all the commitments mentioned in his manifesto, and Ghanaians should trust him.

Adortey emphasised that the president will not disappoint the people of Ghana. Adortey noted that Mahama’s experience demonstrates his competence to deliver on the promises made during the 2024 general election campaign.

During a panel discussion on the Angel Morning Show (AMS) on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, Adortey asserted that the president is currently taking the necessary steps to implement all the initiatives stated in his manifesto, and he believes that these plans will surely come to fruition.

“Whatever he stated in his manifesto, President Mahama will deliver on all of it. He’ll implement it one by one; just take that assurance. The way he has articulated his plans clearly shows that he possesses significant experience. To me, he is taking his time to execute each initiative, and I know he will not disappoint the people of Anyaa Sowutuom,” Adortey asserted.

Adortey further explained that Ghanaians have high expectations from President Mahama and the NDC. He believes there is a social contract that Mahama has signed with the citizens.

He pointed out that Mahama will deliver on his promises to maintain public confidence.

He added that during President Mahama’s inaugural speech, he asserted that democracy is the best alternative form of government and that Ghanaians must fully benefit from their administration.

According to Adortey, the future of Ghana belongs to the youth.

“Ghanaians must benefit from our administration, and we must deliver on all the commitments stated in our manifesto, be it in trade, energy, education, or any other sector, to prevent Ghanaians from losing confidence in us. The youth in the country will benefit from this administration,” he added.
