The Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa Central, John Jack, has called on Parliamentarians to ensure that their behavior aligns with their honorable status.
According to him, parliamentarians should be circumspect in their work to prevent actions that could bring dishonor to the country.
He emphasised that what happened in Parliament was not a good reflection of leadership in the country.
“If we’re not careful, the term ‘honorable’ based on our actions may lead to dishonor, which I think is not a good thing. While performing their duties, parliamentarians must be mindful of their behavior; it must align with their honorable status,” Jack stated on Angel Morning Show.
He pointed out that leaders should be cautious with their actions when entrusted with power in the country.
He further condemned the questions being asked during the ongoing vetting process, asserting that these questions contribute to the incidents occurring in Parliament.
He believes it is not appropriate for leaders and urged that the questions should be relevant to the responsibilities of the individuals being appointed.
