Chief of Staff Dr. Julius Debrah has reaffirmed his commitment to promoting tourism, culture and heritage following the successful completion of his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Ghana.
Chief of Staff Dr. Julius Debrah was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Museum and Heritage Studies by the University of Ghana.
In a statement after receiving his doctorate, Dr. Debrah said his long-standing passion for tourism, culture and heritage has shaped much of his professional journey, adding that his doctoral studies have further strengthened his appreciation of Ghana’s rich cultural and historical assets.
According to him, the programme has deepened his understanding of the immense value of the country’s tourism potential and reinforced his conviction that a vibrant tourism sector is essential to preserving Ghana’s national identity, creating sustainable livelihoods, showcasing the country to the world and driving socio-economic transformation.
Dr. Debrah expressed gratitude to everyone who supported him throughout his academic journey, thanking them for their encouragement, guidance and unwavering support.
“To everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you for your encouragement, guidance and support. I share this achievement with you all,” he said.
The Chief of Staff concluded by reaffirming his commitment to national development through tourism and heritage, declaring that “the journey continues.”
