Former Auditor General, Daniel Yaw Domelevo, has stated that the government’s aim to fight against corruption with digitalisation is not founded and unrealistic.

He opined that the government is behaving as if internet fraud doesn’t exist and corruption can only happen in the manual system.

“I have been seeing that the government is aiming to use digitilisation in solving corruption and I laugh.”

“And who says there is no digilitised corruption,? he questioned.

He added that if the government fails to punish corrupt appointees, then it has no business in fighting the canker.

“So if there are no consequences for misbehavior, the fraud will be digitised beyond what you can think about and it will mean a wrong investment in the quest to fight corruption.
