A senior member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Tony Aidoo, says the Presidential Candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) not deserve to be elected President because he is not competent.
“Of course, I’m an NDC man, and I think Ghanaians should vote for Bawumia if they think he has done well…,” he said.
Tony Aidoo who was a senior Presidential Aide and Head of the Policy Evaluation under late President John Fiifi Atta Mills said although he is convinced the Vice President has not done well and not shown any evidence being an effective leader, which to him makes him an unsuitable choice for the presidency, he cannot be the one to decide for the Ghanaian voter.
“There’s no evidence of him doing well. So, the obvious choice is John Mahama. He laid the foundations and will continue to build upon them to reset the economy,” Dr. Aidoo stated in an interview on Angel Morning Show on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
