Former Member of Parliament (MP) and lawyer, Sarah Adwoa Safo has called on the Attorney General to ensure justice is served after gunmen allegedly fired 48 bullets at her vehicle in what she described as an attempted murder.
Speaking on Angel FM’s ‘Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ’ on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, she said the number of bullets fired showed the attack was deliberate.
“There were 48 bullets in my car. If it were two bullets, I would have said the person shot unintentionally. But it was 48, and the person was shooting anyway to reach and kill me. Thank God I’m alive,” she stated.
Ms. Safo disclosed that she was informed the investigation into the incident had reached the Attorney General’s office. She expressed disappointment that no one visited her while she was receiving treatment after the shooting, saying the silence appeared to condone wrongdoing.
“All I’m pleading with the Attorney General is justice. This is a clear case of attempted murder,” she stressed.
