The National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced that accreditation for the game between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Warriors of Zimbabwe in next week’s FIFA World Cup qualifier has begun.

Ghana will host Zimbabwe on Saturday, Of toner 9, 2021 at the Cape Coast Stadium enroute to the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be stagged in Qatar before traveling for the reverse fixture in three days time.

The match will kick off at 16:00GMT.

It has, therefore, urged all media houses interested in covering the match to apply to the Public Relations department of the NSA through its email, pr@sportsauthority.gov.gh.

A statement issued in Accra yesterday which was sighted by angeonline.com.gh, asked applicants to submit a passport size photograph each and a duly signed official application letter addressed to NSA’s head of Public Relations, Charles Obeng Amofa.

“The National Sports Authority extends its compliments to you and wishes to inform all media practitioners who intend to cover the aforementioned match between the Black Stars of Ghana and their Zimbabwean counterparts to submit their applications duly signed by a Manager or an Editor to the Head of Public Relations, National Sports Authority” it reads.

The statement further indicated Wednesday, October 6 as deadline day for applicants who are interested to submit their names attached with one’s affiliated media houses”.

However, National Sports Authority said, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only limited number of media practitioners will be accredited to cover the match, and hence “entreat all accredited media practitioners to adhere to all the COVID-19 safety Protocol measures that have been put in place at the stadium.
