The traditional ruler for Gomoa Nkwantanan in the Gomoa East District of the Central region, Nana Obirikafo Gyebu II, has bemoaned the crowding situation pupils go through on daily basis at Gomoa Nkwantanan D/A Basic School and JSS.

Speaking to the traditional rulers, they stated that, the population of the students is high and can be described as an “abnormal class” because it does not help when one class contains between 120 and 140 students.

According to them the situation is negatively affecting the academic performance of the pupils. Therefore, the need for an infrastructure support.

“We are also making every effort to support…to start up something for others to also come to our help” he added.

Meanwhile, the traditional rulers of the Gomoa Nkwantanan have also complained about the narrow nature of their road, a situation they say is causing a lot of challenges in the enclave.

According to the District Chief Executive for Gomoa East, Solomon Darko-Quram, they have been able to solve some of the problems that were identified so far.
