The founder and presidential candidate of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Christian Andrew, says he will work continue with his duties as a pastor and work alongside as the president if elected in the December polls.

“I will continue with my pastoral duties and if I get the chance to fellowship with my people as well, I will gladly do that provided I am less busy. Even if I don’t get the chance my young pastors will take over,” the preacher popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom said on Angel FM’s ‘Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ’ morning show, Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

According to the Life Assembly Worship Centre, focusing on prayers and waiting on God’s appointed time without human intervention in terms of governing a country, will not solve the situation Ghana is currently facing.

“That is why my government, if elected into power, will revive all factories that have failed under the John Mahama administration as well as the current regime led by Nana Akufo-Addo, to provide employment for the youth,” he assured.

Meanwhile, Osofo Kyiri Abosom has also promised to repackage illegal small scale mining otherwise known as ‘galamsey’ if voted into power.

“As for the galamsey practice, we will continue with it because God has blessed the country with natural resources,” he noted.
