Abuakwa South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Akosua Asabea Annoh, moments after her confirmation for the role, has paid visits to some four West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) centres within her assembly.
The centres include St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Senior High at Asiakwa, Akyem Asafo Senior High, Abuakwa State College at Kyebi and Kyebi Senior High Technical School.
As her motive was to interact with and wish the examination candidates of the schools well, she admonished them to be well behaved in order to become responsible adults.
Alluding to the behaviour of students towards school properties, the MCE who was given a hundred percent (100%) nod by her assembly members, strongly urged the candidates to desist from destroying them and defacing the walls with inscriptions.
She however did not end without advising the girls to aspire to higher heights and avoid unwanted pregnancies which would derail their aspirations.
While considering the pandemic which has plagued the world and under which circumstance the students were writing their papers, she urged them to adhere strongly to the covid-19 protocols for their safety and the well being of the general public.
The candidates were writing the Integrated Science Core Paper during the time of visit.
