The Akwamumanhene’s Adantemhene, Nana Kwame Asamoah Yeboah-Afari, has passed on.

The sub-chief who was a close confidant of the Akwamumanhene, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, died on Monday, October 28, 2024, after a short illness.

Nana Kwame Asamoah Yeboah-Afari until his passing, was the founder and Executive Director of The Royal Senchi Resort & Hotel, a popular holiday destination located at Senchi in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region.

A statement issued on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 and signed by the Gyaasewahene of the Akwamu Traditional Council, Nana Samanhyia Darko II indicated, “there will be a traditional 40 days Observance” in memory of his passing on Saturday December 14, at the Bogyawe Palace, Akwamufie.

“It will be preceded by a vigil on Friday, December 13, 2024, at The Royal Senchi Resort & Hotel at Senchi-Akawmu,” the release added.
