However, some Ghanaians hold the notion that the E-levy will collapse Mobile money businesses b,ecause of the charges it will impose on electronic transactions and the impact on the citizens.

Meanwhile, the government is poised on passing the bill despite facing stiffer opposition from the Minority in Parliament.

And according to the ‘I know my level’ crooner, though the idea of the E-levy is good, measures must be put in place to avoid the youth complaining bitterly.

Shatta Wale urged the government to stop seeing the citizens as ‘animals’ rather try to reason with the youth over their grievances about the E-Levy.

“Don’t work as the country be your own, work with the us, think about the human beings, why we dey see wanna own people like animals.

“We dey fii see our own brothers and start dey think say them bi animals….why why!!!!” Shatta Wale angrily fires.

He reiterated that likewise the electronic transactions in every part of the World, countries like America have created convenient space for it citizens for a better living.

Thus, the controversial artiste described the government stands on the E-Levy as “sad” because to him, President Akuffo-Addo led administration have turned deaf ears to the cry of the people whom voted them in power.

“You hear the people complain, and you don’t pay attention. These are the same people that put their thumbs on the paper to vote for presidents”

“It won’t affect your generation because that is what you are securing. But have you taught about the people?” he fumed.

That notwithstanding, he advised the youth to stand firmly against some ‘bad decisions’ in the country to enable seek for the betterment of their future.

“I want to tell Ghanaians something… start holding yourself as a Ghanaian. And just keep singing the song ‘Arise Ghana Youth for your Country.’ It is bad that certain decisions are being taken and we don’t take them serious. If we are not serious in this country we will continue to suffer” he concluded.
