Ghanaian Afrobeat singer, Kelvyn Brown, known in the showbiz industry as ‘Kelvyn Boy’ has been granted a GH₵200,000 bail by an Adenta Circuit Court.
The musician was arrested and remanded by the Adentan Circuit Court on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, for allegedly assaulting his ‘baby mama’, Deborah Kponyi with an iron rod.
He was denied bail and spent last night in police custody after he pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault.
The lawyer for the accused filed for abridgement of crime and the court heard the case before granting him bail.
The case has, however, been adjourned to March 13, 2022.
