Two arrested for allegedly murdering US national in Cape Coast

The Ghana Police Service has arrested two suspects in connection with the death of a US national, Naomi Jehubiyah in Cape Coast.

The two suspects have been identified as Wisdom Sete, a Togolese, and Yussif Afrim.

A statement issued by the Police said the two suspects were arrested on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Assin Prasso for their alleged involvement in the murder.

According to a preliminary Police investigation, Wisdom Sete, who is believed to be the fiancee of the deceased, allegedly conspired with Yussif Afrim to kill Naomi Jehubiyah.

The Police also retrieved two vehicles belonging to the deceased. The suspects are currently in custody assisting Police investigations.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for preservation and autopsy.
