The National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), George Opare Addo has described the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as a man with no recognisable achievement aside insulting the former President, John Mahama.
Speaking on Angel Morning Show (AMS), Opare Addo said Dr Bawumia was hailed as an economic wizkid after he insulted the legacy of erstwhile Mahama administration while in opposition.
“What has Bawumia achieved even as head of Economic Management Team…nothing, he is always there talking about digitisation, but who laid the infrastructure for the digitisation agenda? Yet they claim Mahama is not a thinker…they forget insulting Mahama is Bawumia’s only claim to fame…,” he said.
The Lawyer further said that the NPP and its members only saw Dr Bawumia as a messiah for the party in 2016 after he started pooh poohing the achievements of John Mahama and his administration.
He further said that Dr Bawumia after becoming the Vice President and head of the Economic Management Team of Ghana has shown that he was only a text book economist and not a practical one.
