Musician, Akwaboah, has dismissed claims about his marriage, assuring that he is happy and well cared for by his wife despite comments from critics.
According to the musician, his wife takes good care of him and is an excellent cook, making his home a comfortable place to be.
“My wife takes really good care of me and she’s a very good cook, I enjoy at home. So for somebody to come out and say I don’t eat well at home, I just wonder who told them. I’m happy now than before and I’m okay. It’s not everything that we come out to put out there,” he said.
Akwaboah explained that he had already warned his wife about the possibility of facing criticism from the public even before they got married.
“Even before we got married, I kept telling her that the day I introduced her to the world, some people would hate her for no reason. She wouldn’t have done anything to them, but they would still have something negative to say,” he said.
He noted that his wife sometimes shares negative comments she receives with him, but they choose to laugh about them rather than allow such remarks to affect their relationship.
“Whenever people make such comments, she shows them to me, and we just laugh about them. So far, none of it has affected our marriage. We’ve never quarrelled or even thought about divorce because of what people say. We’re like best friends,” Akwaboah added.
