The headmaster of Adisadel College has suspended students captured in a violent violent act at Adisadel College in the Central Region.
Their suspension, which followed an investigation by the school’s Disciplinary Committee was communicated by the headmaster in a letter copied to the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the school.
“The housemaster and his co will be suspended immediately, pending the outcome of this video (act) by GES,” the statement continued.
According to the statement, authorities of the school have taken a strong exception to the incident especially the culprit, victim and the one who took the video.
Both the culprit responsible for the assault and the victim have been sent home, with the culprit suspended indefinitely and will write his West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) from the West African Examinations Council’s (WAEC) center.
Meanwhile, the victim has also been sent home and will be writing his WASSCE examination from the school strictly with parental escort.
Additionally, the student who filmed the distressing incident will face a one-week external suspension as a consequence of his involvement in the incident.
“The others who were there but did nothing, didn’t report will all do international punishment,” it noted.
