The Spokesperson for the family of the late President John Evans Atta-Mills has cautioned  Koku Anyidoho over his attitude in the aftermath of the statesman’s passing.

Koku Anyidoho, a former deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress, who was a press secretary to the late president, has been demanding the autopsy report of the deceased for a time.

In a renewed request, he led some relatives of the late president to the Flagstaff House during a visit to President Akufo-Addo in Accra on Saturday, January 13, 2024. But the family, feeling disturbed about the development, has reprimanded Koku Anyidoho.

According to Nana Obaatan Afful, the persistent utterances of the late president’s subordinate keep bringing sorrow to the Millses.

“The Atta-Mills family is very healthy, but we are living in deep sorrow with regard to the issues emanating from this autopsy thing. With the sorrow each year, Koku Anyidoho and his connivers have made it a habit to sadden the family with their actions and inactions.

“And as chiefs and dignitaries having peace of mind to celebrate Christmas festivities despite losing their relatives, we do not have such privilege by the courtesy of Koku Anyidoho. So we, the Atta Mills family, could not enjoy the Christmas celebration,” he told Okatakyei Afrifa-Mensah.

He warned the Atta Mills Institute founder to desist from the act while challenging him to come out with any secret of the death of the former statesman if there be any.

Nana Obaatan Afful reminded Koku Anyidoho that he is not and cannot be a relative, as he only worked with the deceased, hence the need to have a second thought about his actions.

He threatened that the family would have no option but to take legal action against him should he not heed their call and stop the pestering.
