Renowned gospel musician, Joyce Blessing, has added her voice to the long-standing debate on whether or not their genre should be excluded from the entertainment industry.
The “Victory” singer stated categorically that gospel music should not be excluded from the entertainment industry.
She emphasized that it plays a vital role in uplifting and inspiring audiences just like other forms of music genres do.
Joyce Blessing in a one-on-one interview with Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah said that gospel music is a fundamental part of the entertainment industry and should not be excluded.
“Gospel music uplifts and inspires audiences like other forms of entertainment,” the Oluwa Is Involve hitmaker said on the Angel Morning Show.
According to Joyce Blessing, taking the gospel out of the entertainment industry should not be ideal because some events like naming ceremonies and weddings cannot be done without gospel music.
Joyce Blessing again noted that gospel music does not only serve as a blessing to people spiritually but it also has a positive impact on their physical well-being.
“Gospel music should not be excluded from the entertainment industry.”
