Legendary Ghanaian musician, Amakye Dede has been involved in a ghastly accident between Apam and Winneba in the Western region.
The incident according to management occurred at 1:50 am on Sunday, December 29, 2024.
In a statement, management explained he was on his way to Agona Swedru with his crew after performing at the Takoradi City Mall when the accident happened.
They were rushed to the Winneba Hospital where they received treatment between 2:00 am and 6:00 am.
The management has assured that Amakye Dede needs a few days to fully recover as they expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for the prayers and support so far.
They, however, expressed regret for the inconvenience caused over his inability to perform at scheduled events, particularly in Kumasi.
