The National Democratic Congress (NDC) would get the shock of their lives with the outcome of the December 7, 2024, general elections, Salam Mustapha has stated.

Mr. Salam, the National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), believes that despite the public uproar of the economic hardship, the incumbent government will retain their seat.

“Anytime I embarked on a campaign tour and returned I only tell people that we are going to win the 2024 general elections and it would be a surprise to the NDC. They will not understand how it happened, but it is definitely going to happen because we [the NPP] are like the shadow in the dark,” he told Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah on the Angel Morning Show.

Salam Mustapha explained that the NPP’s shadow is bright however “the darkness has covered it”, adding that “With very confidence in me, NDC will never win the 2024 election.”

He also reminded the general public of their preparedness to strengthen its campaigns and work at the grassroots levels to canvass votes for the party, ensuring they break the eight-year term.

“So, the factors that are going to help us win the elections is there, it is on the grounds,” the NPP’s national youth organiser added in his submission on Monday, April 22, 2024.
