Ghanaian music icon, Philippa Baafi, has announced her return to the music scene with a renewed commitment to her career.

In an interview on the Angel Morning Show (AMS), Philippa revealed her plans to stay active in the industry and share a wealth of new music with her fans.

The Gospel singer took a long break from music to study medicine and graduated as a physician assistant.

She has subsequently established a health facility, Philibells Medical Centre in Accra.

These kept her out of music for nearly a decade but she declared during the interview on Friday, April 26, 2024, that she was returning to music for good.

“I’m back to stay this time,” she declared. “I’ve been working on a lot of new songs, and I’m excited to release them for my fans to enjoy.”

Philippa Baafi’s latest single has sparked a trend on social media, where people are sharing comparisons between their old and new pictures, highlighting their progress and celebrating how far God has brought them.

Fans are eagerly anticipating her upcoming releases and the chance to engage with her in meaningful ways.
