Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Vice Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former Minister of Education, will deliver a keynote address at the University of Memphis.
The address, titled “Implementing a National Policy for Educational Access and Equity,” will focus on his experience shaping Ghana’s education landscape, particularly his role in the implementation of the Free Senior High School (SHS) programme by the ruling NPP government.
During his visit, Dr. Prempeh will meet with the Ghanaian community in Memphis to engage in dialogue, reinforcing ties between Ghana and its diaspora. He will also be hosted by the Mayor of Memphis to explore opportunities for cultural and educational exchange.
Dr. Prempeh departs Accra on October 17th and will return on October 20th, continuing his campaign for the upcoming national elections.
