The Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said that his election as the flagbearer attests to the fact that NPP belongs to all Ghanaians.
Dr Bawumia has therefore pledged to provide good leadership for the Ghanaian people if elected as the next President on December 7.
He was speaking at a community engagement at Aflao in the Ketu South Constituency of the Volta Region.
According to him, when he first contested as the NPP flagbearer, many people doubted the prospects of a northerner to lead.
However, by electing him, the NPP has demonstrated that it belongs to all Ghanaians irrespective of where you come from.
He said he will provide effective leadership to the Ghanaian people if he elected to the Presidency, to reward the confidence reposed in him by the party.
Dr. Bawumia added that, there is no doubt about the fact the NPP is winning the election and urged the people to remain focused and not to be distracted by the antics of the NDC, who are already sensing their defeat in December.
