The National Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, has expressed his confidence that the party’s target of winning 15 parliamentary seats in the Northern Region remains tactful.

Speaking on the Angel Morning Show on Thursday, November 7, 2024, he noted that the Vice President, Dr. Bawumia, has made a significant impact on the people in the North and they will in return, reward him and the NPP graciously with the votes.

According to him, since Dr. Bawumia became the Vice President of Ghana, their parliamentary seats have increased from four to nine compared to previous years.

He was confident that on December 7, the remaining six seats will come to their side. “We’re going to achieve absolute victory,” he said emphatically.

The National Organizer stated that they were working tirelessly to win the seats in the northern part of the country, particularly in the North-East.

“Currently, when you take the five northern regions, there are 31 constituencies: Savanna has seven constituencies, Northern Region proper has 18 constituencies, and the North-East has six constituencies.

“In the North-East, we have four seats, in Savanna we have three and in Northern proper, we have nine. Even in the five northern regions, we have 16 seats while the NDC has 15 seats, which means we have more seats than they do,” he said.
