The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, has stated that the NPP has completed and commissioned over 40 hospitals in Ghana since assuming power.
Speaking on Angel Morning Show on November 12, 2024, Nana B mentioned that the NPP government has successfully constructed 40 hospitals across the country. He mentioned Sefwi Akotonmra, Bogoso, Suame, and Drobonso as among the numerous locations where the hospitals can be found.
According to him, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo recently commissioned the hospital in Sefwi Asawinso.
These hospitals, he said, are not part of the Agenda 111 policy of the Akufo-Addo administration.
“So apart from the 114 hospitals, we have built an additional 40 hospitals that are completed,” he said.
Nana B further explained that the achievements of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot be compared to those of the NPP.
These 140 hospitals (Agenda 111 inclusive) has dwarfed the NDC’s achievements in health.
“President Mahama saw a hospital project at Assin Breku, and he stated that when he comes to power, he will continue the unfinished project, meanwhile, he said it is overly ambitious,” he added.
