Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced the arrest of one Grace Siaw, believed to be the girlfriend of the prime suspect, Daniel Febiri, also known as Braima as killer of its late supporter Francis Yaw Frimpong, also known as Nana Pooley.
The club in an update on its X page, said the Ghana Police Service arrested Ms. Siaw for allegedly aiding the suspect between February 4 and 17 to flee from Ghana.
“Grace Siaw concealed the suspect between 4th & 17th Feb and assisted him to run to Senegal through Cote D’voire,” it said.

She was arraigned on February 25 and remanded into custody and is set to reappear in court on Today, Monday, March 3, as investigations continue.
The deceased, a die-hard supporter of the Kumasi-based club was fatally stabbed in Nsoatre on February 2, 2025, following the club’s match against Nsoatreman in a Ghana Premier League match.
