FKF Premier League side Kenya Police FC were crowned league champions for the first time in their history at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Lang’ata.

The newly declared champions came from behind to secure a 1–1 draw against second-placed Gor Mahia.

Former champions Gor took the lead in the first half through Shariff Musa, but Kenya Police equalized in the second half thanks to a goal from David Okoth, adding a point to their season tally.

This title triumph caps off what began as a difficult season for the law enforcers.

The South B-based club started the campaign under the guidance of Salim Babu and Antony Kimani, managing just one win in their first five matches, drawing three and losing one, which left them sitting 15th in the table.

Following the poor start, Babu and his entire technical bench were dismissed.

Women’s team head coach Beldine Odemba briefly took over in an interim capacity, overseeing two matches before Burundian tactician Etienne Ndayiragije was appointed on November 29, 2024.

Since taking charge, Etienne has transformed the team’s fortunes. Under his leadership, Kenya Police played 27 matches, winning 17, drawing 6 and losing only 4 while securing the title with a game to spare.
