The two suspects who tied up and brutally subjected a 12-year-old boy to ill-treatment for allegedly stealing Gh¢200 have been remanded into police custody by the Gender-Based Violence Court in Sekondi.
The suspects, Sulema Abdullah Rashid and Issah Morro, appeared before Her Honour Mrs. Naa Armerley Akowuah, are facing two charges – child torture and causing harm.
The presiding judge refused them bail and ordered the suspects to be held in custody to allow for further investigations.
The case is scheduled to continue on July 10, 2025, with the suspects reappearing before the court.
