Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, has showered praises on President John Dramani Mahama, hailing him as a leader who has moved from being described as “over-promising” to one who consistently delivers on his word.
According to the Minister, Mr. Mahama has proven doubters wrong by turning what many deemed impossible into reality.

“Prior to the election, people called him so many names and mock at his promises and even said he was over promising.
“But Nananom, here today, we are calling him Osiediɛyɔ [one who keeps his promises] because all that he promised, he has delivered,” she said.

Highlighting key achievements, the Minister elaborated on some of the President’s campaign promises that have been fulfilled.
“Today, he has added private schools to the school feeding program, he promise sanitary pad and he has delivered. He promise teachers licensure exams to be stopped and he has ordered it, nurses are to be receive their six months allowance nursing training allowance.”
Madam Rita Awatey urged continued national support for the President, emphasizing his leadership as exceptional and inspiring.
“We’ll continue to support you Mr. President to deliver to the people.”
She labeled Mr. Mahama as, “The man whose leadership continues to inspire across the country; a unifier, a visionary leader, a promise-keeping leader,” she concluded.
