Reports indicate that a helicopter with registration number 9G-AFW has made an emergency landing at Nkawkaw in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
An eyewitness told Nkawkaw-based Agoo FM that the landing occurred at about 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025.
The pilot and staff on board reportedly said they were compelled to land due to adverse weather conditions.
Footage shows residents gathered at the scene, providing commentaries on the incident.
No casualties have been reported at the time of filing this report.
Authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
This development comes barely five days after the nation was hit by a tragedy in which eight people lost their lives in a helicopter crash in Obuasi.
