A fire has severely damaged a three-bedroom house and an apartment building in Darkuman Kokompe, situated in the Greater Accra Region.
The distressing incident occurred on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 9:09 am, involving several residential properties.
According to reports, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) swiftly responded to the outbreak, dispatching two fire engines to quell the blaze.
It noted that, the first crew from the Industrial Area arrived on the scene by 9:22 am and quickly brought the fire under control.
With additional support from the Headquarters team, the fire was fully extinguished, averting further disaster.
The blaze resulted in the destruction of a three-bedroom self-contained house and four chamber-and-hall apartments during the chaotic episode.
Fortunately, adjoining properties were salvaged, and no casualties were recorded.
