Kumasi Asante Kotoko will play their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round first-leg match against Nigeria’s Kwara United at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The FA Cup holders are scheduled to host the Nigerian side on Saturday, September 21, with kick-off at 3:00 pm GMT. The second leg will follow in Nigeria between September 26 and 28.
The decision to move the game to Accra comes after CAF rejected the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi for not meeting required standards.
Ahead of time, Asante Kotoko have announced ticket rates for the clash: GHC50 for the Popular Stand, GHC70 for the Centre Line, GHC100 for Lower VIP, and GHC150 for Upper VIP.
Should the Porcupine Warriors progress, they will set up a second preliminary round encounter with Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca, with matches slated for October 17–19 and 24–26.
