Gospel singer, Piesie Esther, has explained why Kuami Eugene was the perfect fit to produce her latest hit song, Nyame Ye, noting that the track naturally suited his style and creativity.
Speaking in an interview, Piesie Esther shared the story behind the collaboration, revealing that it all began after Kuami Eugene survived a car accident.
“I remember when he had the accident, my chairman suggested we go and pray for him. So we visited him. Before that, he had already reached out to me, saying he had a song for me and that I should come and listen to it,” she recalled.
According to her, the first time she heard the track, she was deeply moved by its message.
“When he played the song for me, I listened and, oh my God, it was a very powerful song,” she affirmed.
She further praised Kuami Eugene’s creativity, describing him as someone with endless ideas who makes the production process smooth.
“Because he has a lot of ideas, working with him makes the work so easy. He did very well,” she added.
