Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mustapha Gbande, has called for calm among party supporters and sympathisers in response to growing concerns over jobs and internal relationships.
In a Facebook post, Mr. Gbande acknowledged the concerns raised by both members and non-members of the party, assuring them that leadership is committed to addressing the issues.
“We appreciate all concerns in whatever shape or form from the rank and file of the party, members and non-members,” he said.
He urged supporters to remain patient as the party explores solutions.
“Grant us the privilege to find a lasting solution on a gradual pace,” Gbande stated, adding that the government is performing well and that frustrations should be communicated with restraint.
“We are here to serve you with the hope of bettering our common situations that confront us in diverse ways,” he emphasized and noted that expressions from the public are sufficient to be heard.
On behalf of the president and party leadership, Mr. Gbande reaffirmed their solidarity with the grassroots.
“We are fully with you… patience and resilience always wins in the end,” he stressed.
