Reggae and dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has revealed that he is already married to his longtime partner, Mali, but is currently saving up for a grand wedding celebration.
During an interview on Joy Prime on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Shatta Wale stated that the most appropriate thing he has done so far with Mali is meeting her parents alongside a few others.
“The only appropriate thing I’ve done with Mali is I’ve met her parents, you know, with couple of people and the father has really accepted me into the family, took drinks and stuff over and you know it was beautiful,” he remarked.
He further shared that fans should expect a church wedding soon, explaining that he wants to make it special for Mali.
“So expect a church wedding. And I’m saving for that, I want to have a proper wedding because Mali came into my life when struggle and pressure were coming down a bit. She was there, got me for over 5 years. I was with her for over 5 years before I had to outdoor her and let people know that is my partner. She’s been wonderful and she likes praying too, that’s my favorite,” he commenced.
