The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially announced the release of the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year.

The Authority stated that a total of 85,159 personnel from accredited tertiary institutions have been deployed to various public and private sector agencies across the country.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Director-General of the Authority, Ruth Dela Seddoh, and issued on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

“As of today, Tuesday, 28th October 2025, a total of Eighty-Five Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty-Nine (85,159) personnel drawn from all accredited tertiary institutions have been deployed to both private and public user agencies to undertake their one-year mandatory service towards national development.”

The Authority noted that the current figure excludes personnel who had issues with data mismatch and are awaiting review, as well as teachers, nurses, midwives, and others in similar categories.

It explained that “All personnel under the data mis-match category are to note that their placement forms part of the yet-to-be-released batch.”

It further indicated that “the total number of postings is expected to rise in due course.”
