The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced extension of its current recruitment exercise by an additional week.
The decision comes after experiencing technical setbacks with its online application system.
A press release issued in Accra on October 31, 2025, by the Department of Public Relations at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, stated that the new application deadline is now November 7, 2025.
“The Ghana Armed Forces has extended the deadline for the ongoing recruitment exercise by one week due to some technical challenges experienced on the recruitment portal during the initial phase,” the statement noted.
The statement was signed by Colonel Evelyn Ntiamoah Asamoah, Acting Director General of Public Relations.
It further apologised for the disruption and called on applicants and the general public to remain patient and supportive.
The recruitment, which kicked off on October 1, 2025, is being conducted through registration and verification centres situated in all 16 regional capitals.
This effort is part of a broader national plan aimed at enlisting around 12,000 new personnel into the Armed Forces over the next three years.
