Help Funny Face move out of Kasoa – Big Akwes tells Kwaku Manu

Kumawood actor Akwasi Asamoah, popularly known as “Big Akwes,” has advised colleague Kwaku Manu to convince comic actor Funny Face to vacate his residence in Kasoa for his own well-being.

Big Akwes further suggested that selling the property could provide relief for Funny Face’s mental health.

He noted that remaining in the same environment could negatively affect Funny Face’s recovery, stressing that a change of location would protect him from harmful influences.

“Kwaku, there’s something I want to tell you. Let Funny Face leave his house at Kasoa and sell it. I’m pleading with you, use the money to buy a different house for him in a different hood. It will help, or else your work might be in vain,” he said in a video shared by blogger Zionfelix on Instagram on Monday, October 17, 2025.

In his usual humorous but pointed manner, Big Akwes described the people around Funny Face in Kasoa as a ‘negative force.’

“Those of us with him at Kasoa are wizards, so all the wizards here will stand against him,” he joked, though his tone suggested seriousness.

He argued that some individuals in the area were not supportive of Funny Face’s recovery during his difficult period and could influence him negatively.

“Some of us wish he never got well in the first place. We can still find ways and means for Funny Face to go back to his old situation,” he said, stressing that although he said it jovially, he meant what he was saying.

Big Akwes further stressed that moving Funny Face to a new location would limit his access to such ‘negative people’ and protect him from external forces spiritually.

“What will stop us from getting access to him is when he changes his route of staying. It will make us search for him but we won’t find him, and it will put us to shame,” he said.

He concluded by emphasizing that staying in the same environment could expose Funny Face to continued emotional and psychological distress.

“But as far as he’s here, we will keep tormenting him,” he added.
