Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ga Central, Emmanuel Adotey Allotey, has highlighted the significance of President John Dramani Mahama’s Big Push Project, emphasizing its potential to create more jobs nationwide.
He noted that the Ministry of Finance and President John Dramani Mahama have put in place measures to create jobs to benefit both the private and public sectors.
“Through the Ministry of Finance, President Mahama government have allocated 800,000 jobs with capital markets sharply moved to 57.7 billion,” he asserted, speaking on the Angel Morning Show (AMS) on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
He explained that, in line with the government’s ‘Resetting Ghana Agenda’, the Finance Ministry has been restructured to cover jobs and employment in the country.
Mr. Allotey said that the fintech industries were also providing hands-on training for the youth, coupled with the efforts of the numerous Municipal, Metropolitan, District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) and the development plans of President Mahama’s government.
“Fintech industries are providing training for youth in coding, the NDC government who have 261 MMDCE will even create about one million because there will be infrastructural development,” he stated.
He further stressed that this initiative is expected to create more jobs for young people across the country.
