Director of Operations for the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Divine Nkrumah, has alleged that the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) is pretending to investigate former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta’s case.
According to him, the OSP is collaborating with Ofori-Atta, and their actions are just a show to make it seem like they’re taking action against him.
“OSP is playing a move for people to get the impression that he wants to address the issue and prosecute Ken Ofori-Atta,” Mr. Nkrumah alleged in a panel discussion on the Angel Morning Show (AMS).
He added that, considering the charges against the former finance minister, it may take around six years for his substantive case to even begin, citing legal luminaries.
“It is a walk in the park for Ken Ofori-Atta because the issue will be dragged more due to the numerous charges, even OSP’s term of office would be ended,” he stated on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
Mr. Nkrumah suggested that Ken Ofori-Atta should be charged with about two serious offenses and arrested, instead of prolonging the process with multiple charges.
