Ghana’s Black Stars have been handed a tricky draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be staged across Mexico, Canada, and the United States.
The four-time World Cup finalists have been placed in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama.
Ghana’s group opponents were confirmed on Friday, December 5, 2025, following the official tournament draw held in Washington, D.C., United States.
The Black Stars will open their campaign against North American side Panama before facing England in their second fixture.
They will wrap up their group stage with a clash against Croatia, the 2018 World Cup runners-up led by Luka Modrić.
The tournament, to be co-hosted by three nations for the first time, is scheduled to run from June 11 to July 18, 2026.
