The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has confirmed that the trial of the former head of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) will resume on 20 January 2026.
In a statement issued on Monday, 8 December 2025, the OSP disclosed that it has filed a motion to call an additional witness in the matter.
“The trial of the former head of the Public Procurement Authority continued today 8 December 2025, with a pending motion by the OSP to call an additional witness.
“The case has been fixed for 20 January 2026 for continuation,” the OSP disclosed.
The statement noted that a further review of the case requiredirectionection in the conduct of the trial.
“The OSP has dutifully conducted this case since the current Special Prosecutor inherited it upon assumption of office. During the pendency of the case, a further review by the OSP required a re-direction of the conduct of the trial.”
The OSP reiterated that it will continue to act in the best interest of the Republic.
