The Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) has organised its 2025 annual review meeting programme aimed at boosting the performance of its workers in the Greater Accra Region.

The event took place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Greater Accra.

This programme serves to review the performance and challenges faced by workers throughout the year, with the goal of improving outcomes and addressing issues within the GEA workforce.

The Ghana Enterprises Agency is the governmental body dedicated to the promotion and development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ghana.

GEA is mandated to coordinate, implement, and monitor the activities of the MSMEs sector in the country.

According to the Regional Director, Anthea Ohene Mayne, the programme is reviewed annually to assess achievements against the original planned activities.

This reflects a commitment to improving implemented strategies.

She further asserted that the programme was organised to share experiences among colleagues while expressing the challenges encountered by participants during the year.

Madam Anthea, however, highlighted the importance of addressing these challenges encountered in Greater Accra during their training programmes.

As the regional director, she and her team are determined to secure more clients for their training initiatives.

“This is the annual review meeting, so this one is the Greater Accra annual review meeting for 2025 under Ghana Enterprises Agency.

“This programme is held annually to review what we have been able to achieve out of the planned activities we listed, what we’ve been able to implement, the activities we’ve implemented.

“And we share our learning with our colleagues and also the challenges that we encountered during the year; we try as much as possible to find solutions to those challenges that we faced,” the Regional Director stated.

She acknowledged the commendable performance of GEA workers, noting that their collaborative efforts with District Assemblies have been successful.

The Regional Director believes that this year’s activities have exceeded expectations.
