President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Kenya for an official visit at the invitation of President William Ruto.
He is set to serve as the guest of honour at the country’s Jamhuri Day celebrations, marking Kenya’s independence.

He landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport around midnight, where he was welcomed by Kenya’s Deputy Prime Cabinet Secretary, Musalia Mudavadi, and other senior officials.

President Mahama exchanged greetings with the delegation.

During the visit, he will serve as the guest of honour at Kenya’s Jamhuri Day celebrations, a national event marking the country’s independence and celebrating its cultural heritage.

He was accompanied by Dr. Callistus Mahama, Executive Secretary to the President, and Mr. Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations.
President Mahama is expected to return from Kenya on Saturday.
